Hohepa supports people with Intellectual disabilities and they play a vital role by building a community where people with disabilities are given an identity and are able to achieve their full potential. The candle workshop was founded in the 1980's and is just one of many hand crafts the community makes.

These beeswax candles are all hand dipped and that’s why every candle will be unique and have its own individual quirks. Wax bloom is something you may notice forming on your candle, this is a completely natural process and a soft cloth will remove the powdery white film that will develop, this is all part of the natural oxidisation process.
